Wedding in Paradise

(Complimentary when booking a Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View or higher for a minimum of 7 nights or if 5 rooms are reserved for a minimum of 3 nights per room in any room category).

With many of the luxurious resorts surrounded by the verdant Mexican jungle along with miles of golden sands, Honeymoon Dreams we’ll ensure every detail of your destination wedding is perfect.

 

Mexico Wedding

When getting married in Mexico, couples are required to be in the resort at least four days prior to the ceremony.  You will also have to obtain a new copy of your birth certificate as this will be kept by the state of Mexico. This must then be sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). If you have previously been divorced or widowed you must also get your documents certified by a solicitor and sent to the FCO. All documents must be translated into Spanish which can be done at the resort for an additional charge.

Documentation you are required to take to get married in Mexico:

  • Full British Passport
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Original decree absolute (if divorced)
  • Original death certificate of former spouse & marriage certificate (if widowed)
  • Original adoption certificate (if adopted)
  • Original deed pole notice (if name changed)
  • Letters of personal detail
